Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "TOU") define the terms and conditions for using the QuizLab platform, operated by quizlab-app (hereinafter "the Service"), accessible at quizlab-app.com. QuizLab is an e-learning platform specializing in exam preparation. It offers quizzes, exercises, and revision tools designed to support users in their learning and exam preparation.

Use of the Service implies full and unconditional acceptance of these TOU. By accessing the Service, creating an account, or using any feature of the platform, the user acknowledges having read these terms and accepts them without reservation. If the user does not accept these terms, they are advised not to use the Service.

To access certain features of the Service, the user must create a personal account. During registration, the user agrees to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
• Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials;
• Create only one account per individual;
• Not assign, transfer, or share access to their account with a third party.

The user is solely responsible for all activity carried out from their account. In case of unauthorized use of their account, the user must inform QuizLab immediately.

QuizLab operates on a freemium model. Basic access to the Service is free and offers a limited set of features. Premium subscriptions are available as monthly or annual plans, offering extended access to platform content and features.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe (PCI-DSS certified), our payment provider. QuizLab acts as the merchant for all transactions and is responsible for applicable tax compliance.

Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of each billing period, unless previously cancelled by the user. The user may cancel their subscription at any time from their account settings. Premium access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our secure payment provider. Refunds are managed in accordance with this refund policy.

14-day withdrawal right: In accordance with European consumer protection regulations, you have a 14-day withdrawal right from the date of your subscription. During this period, you may request a full refund without providing any justification.

After the withdrawal period: After the 14-day period, refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Premium access will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will automatically revert to the free plan.

Automatic renewal: Subscriptions are automatically renewed. It is the user's responsibility to cancel their subscription before the renewal date if they do not wish to be charged for the next period.

How to request a refund: For any refund request, please contact us at contact@quizlab-app.com stating your account email address and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days.

The user agrees to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The following is strictly prohibited:

• Cheating or attempting to circumvent the evaluation mechanisms implemented on the platform;
• Sharing login credentials or allowing a third party to use their account;
• Extracting, collecting, or scraping data or content from the platform in an automated manner;
• Using the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes;
• Disrupting or attempting to compromise the operation of the Service.

Any violation of these rules may result in the suspension or deletion of the user's account, without notice or compensation.

All content available on the QuizLab platform, including but not limited to texts, quizzes, questions, illustrations, logos, trademarks, databases, and software, are the exclusive property of QuizLab or its partners and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution, or exploitation of this content, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorization of QuizLab, is strictly prohibited.

The user retains full rights to the personal data they provide in connection with their use of the Service (profile data, quiz answers, progress statistics, etc.).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." QuizLab endeavors to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the platform but does not guarantee that the Service will be free of errors, interruptions, or defects.

QuizLab cannot be held responsible for the results obtained by the user in their exams or assessments. The platform is a preparation aid and in no way guarantees success in exams.

QuizLab disclaims any liability for data loss, direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The user may terminate their account at any time using the account deletion feature available in the platform settings.

QuizLab reserves the right to suspend or delete a user's account in the event of a violation of these TOU, without notice and without compensation.

Upon account deletion, the user's personal data will be deleted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our privacy policy. Some data may be retained for the duration necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

These TOU are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation, execution, or termination of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, unless otherwise provided by law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before any legal action.
